This will be my 3rd year at Plano High School as a School Counselor. Prior to joining the Plano family, I was a school counselor for four years at Bloomington High School in Bloomington, Illinois. I attended The University of Iowa for my undergraduate degree and then attended Governors State University where I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, step-daughter and our dog. I am excited to work with the students and families of PHS!

This will be my 2nd year at Plano High School as a School Counselor. Prior to my role as a counselor, I was a math teacher at PHS and I also taught middle school math and science in a different district. I attended Northern Illinois University for my undergraduate degree and Lewis University for my Master's degree in School Counseling. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new things, and spending time with my family and friends.

This will be my 4th year as a school social worker at Plano High School. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Aurora University. I am in the process of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Drugs and Alcohol Counselor (CADC). In addition to being a school social worker, I am the basketball coach at Millbrook Junior High, an active member of the Kendall County Juvenile Justice Committee, and the coordinator for both P.R.A.I.S.E. and T.A.L.K. programs at Plano High School. I have two dogs, both Chihuahuas, that I enjoy taking walks with in my spare time. I have seven nieces, three nephews, and one on the way ranging from ages 1 year-15 years old, that I spend most of my time with. Lastly, I am a sports fanatic and spend a lot of time either watching or playing sports, especially hockey. Let’s go Hawks!

This is my first year at Plano High School as a school social worker. I graduated from PHS in 1993 and am looking forward to being back as an employee! Prior to my return to Plano, I worked in the Batavia Public Schools and for Kendall County Special Education Cooperative. This school year marks my 22nd year as a school social worker. I am married and live in Yorkville with my husband and son, who is a Sophomore in high school. Our daughter is a Sophomore in college at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. We also have two Cornish Rex cats (look them up, they are not your typical cat!) that are spoiled rotten. I am a crazy cat lady and make no effort to hide that.

This is my fourth year as the School Psychologist at Plano High School, as I am the secondary level School Psychologist for the Plano Area Special Education Cooperative. I also support Plano Middle School, Millbrook Junior High School, and Newark Community High School. This is my 26th year as a Certified School Psychologist as I worked for 14 years in Indian Prairie District 204 and 10 years with the Kendall County Special Education Cooperative. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology for Northern Illinois University and my Masters Degree from Illinois State University. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, two adult sons, and our dog. It is my pleasure to support the students, staff, and families in Plano.
